The Higher Professional Training Diploma in Health Documentation and Administration is an official qualification accredited by the Department of Education of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
This training qualifies you to define and organize processes for handling clinical information and documentation, extracting and recording data, coding it, and validating the information, ensuring compliance with regulations and assisting in patient management and administrative processes in healthcare facilities.

Understanding specialized clinical terminology
Recognize the clinical terminology in health documents related to pathological processes and their care in healthcare services.

The Training Cycle is primarily online, with a flexible methodology designed to adapt to your personal or professional schedule.
This option includes mandatory in-person sessions one Friday a month from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Sant Joan de Déu Teaching Campus (Sant Boi de Llobregat) to carry out assessment activities.
To take this training course in virtual mode, you must have the following:
- A personal computer with internet access.
- Basic computer skills for using online learning platforms.
Continuous assessment and exams
To ensure students’ progressive learning, a continuous assessment system is established that includes:
- Development of individual and group tasks.
- Conducting tests, questionnaires, and other formative activities.
- Mandatory in-person sessions one Friday a month for the completion of assessment tasks.

Submit to the academic secretary on the day of enrollment formalization:
- Color passport-size photograph.
- Photocopy of your bank details for payment authorization and the "SEPA Direct Debit Mandate" document.
- Photocopy of a document showing the student's identification code (IDALU), which usually appears on the transcript.
- Original official academic transcript showing the grade obtained according to the relevant access route (ESO, Bachillerato, medium/higher vocational training cycle, etc.). If applying for the convalidation of credits or modules, grades must be itemized by credit or training unit.
- Original or certified copy of the corresponding title receipt.
- Document "Data Confidentiality"
- Document "Request for Consent to Obtain Images."
- Document "Educational Commitment Letter" (in-person instruction only).
- Document "Virtual Teaching Commitment Letter" (for virtual instruction only).

Payment methods
Tuition payment
Payment will be made once enrollment has been completed, through the following methods:
a) Lump sum payment
Students who opt for a single payment must pay in one lump sum the total amount due for their enrollment, according to the established payment method, within a maximum of seven calendar days from the date of enrollment.
b) Instalment payment
Tuition installment payment is a free service (0% fees) offered by the CDSJD to its students to facilitate course payment. Once enrollment is finalized, the student commits to making all the specified payments, even in the event of withdrawal for any reason.






Access
Requirements for Access to Higher Vocational Training Cycles
To access a Higher Degree Vocational Training program, you must meet one of the following requirements:
Have one of the following titles:
- High School
- LOGSE High School Diploma.
- Goodbye
- A vocational training diploma, a university degree, or an equivalent qualification.
- Title of specialist technician, senior technician, or equivalent.
- Vocational high school diploma or a diploma in Fine Arts and Design.
Or, having overcome:
- A professional certificate training program included in the cycle.
- A specific training course for access to upper-level degree programs.
- An entrance exam.
- The second year of any experimental high school program.
- The COU or a pre-university course.
- The university entrance exam for those over 25 or 45 years old.
- Access to university for people aged 40 or older with proven work or professional experience.
Admission Criteria
To access the vocational training programs, the Sant Joan de Déu Teaching Campus establishes admission criteria based on its private ownership and in accordance with the recommendations of the Department of Education.
Basic criteria
- Completion of pre-registration via the corresponding document and bank payment – 40 points.
- Having completed another accredited degree at the Teaching Campus – 25 points.
- Attend informational sessions – 15 points.
- Being a sibling, parent, or child of a student who has completed or is currently completing studies at CDSJD – 10 points.
- Being an employee, volunteer (with more than 100 hours), or family member of an employee at any center belonging to the Hospital Order of Saint John of God (up to second degree of kinship) – 10 points.
Tiebreaker order
- To have a Specific Educational Support Need (SESN)*.
- The average grade for the education that grants access to the CFGS*.
- Drawing
To apply the tie-breaking criterion, it is necessary to submit the supporting documentation within the established deadline.
Requirements for enrollment
- Completing enrollment constitutes acceptance of and signing the commitment letter to the school's mission and agreement to the rules of coexistence.
- Priority will be given to individuals who complete the full enrollment for the Training Cycle.
