Join us in transforming lives. Make inclusion your future. The Higher Professional Training in Social Integration is an official qualification accredited by the Department of Education of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

This training equips participants to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate social integration interventions, applying specific strategies and techniques to promote equal opportunities.

Professionals trained in this program work to promote personal and social autonomy, support and advise groups at risk of social exclusion or in situations of vulnerability, and develop job placement and community mediation programs.

Organize and implement training activities in personal and social autonomy skills.

Organize and implement job placement and occupational programs.

Inclusive and meaningful communication

Train communication skills using alternative or augmentative systems and motivate users to use them.

Active Mediation and Conflict Resolution


Perform mediation tasks between individuals and groups by applying participatory techniques and conflict management in an efficient manner.

Rigorous processing of medical documentation


Prepare and process documents and communications related to health services.

Application of the CMBD in clinical management

Manage health documentation by applying the structure, utilities, validations, and exploitations of the Minimum Basic Data Set (MBDS).

Comprehensive attention to individual needs

Design activities to address physical and psychosocial needs based on the characteristics of the users and the context.

Efficient management of daily life

Organize domestic management support activities based on the characteristics of the household unit.

Professional relationships based on empathy and conflict resolution

Maintain smooth relationships with service users and their families, members of the work group, and other professionals, demonstrating social skills and providing solutions to conflicts that arise.

With this qualification, you will be able to work in various areas of social intervention. These professions can be carried out in public administrations, social organizations, educational institutions, home care services, residential facilities, shelters, and community programs.

2,000 hours distributed over two academic years (1,485 hours at the educational center + 515 hours of practical training at work sites)


Submit to the academic secretary on the day of enrollment formalization:

  • Color passport-size photograph.
  • Photocopy of your bank details for payment authorization and the “SEPA Direct Debit Mandate” document.
  • Photocopy of a document showing the student’s identification code (IDALU), which usually appears on the transcript.
  • Original official academic transcript showing the grade obtained according to the relevant access route (ESO, Bachillerato, medium/higher vocational training cycle, etc.). If applying for the convalidation of credits or modules, grades must be itemized by credit or training unit.
  • Original or certified copy of the corresponding title receipt.
  • Document “Data Confidentiality”
  • Document “Request for Consent to Obtain Images.”
  • Document “Educational Commitment Letter” (in-person instruction only).
  • Document “Virtual Teaching Commitment Letter” (for virtual instruction only).
  • Original and photocopy of the family book or equivalent documentation proving kinship.


If the student is a minor, the following documentation must also be provided:

  •  Original and photocopy of the family book or equivalent documentation proving parentage.
  • Original and photocopy of the ID card, NIE, or passport of the father, mother, or legal guardian.
  • Document “Authorization for Extracurricular Outings”

Tuition payment

Payment will be made once enrollment has been completed, through the following methods:

a) Lump sum payment

Students who opt for a single payment must pay in one lump sum the total amount due for their enrollment, according to the established payment method, within a maximum of seven calendar days from the date of enrollment.

b) Instalment payment

Tuition installment payment is a free service (0% fees) offered by the CDSJD to its students to facilitate course payment. Once enrollment is finalized, the student commits to making all the specified payments, even in the event of withdrawal for any reason.

Requirements for Access to Higher Vocational Training Cycles

To access a Higher Degree Vocational Training program, you must meet one of the following requirements:

  • High School
  • LOGSE High School Diploma.
  • Goodbye
  • A vocational training diploma, a university degree, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Title of specialist technician, senior technician, or equivalent.
  • Vocational high school diploma or a diploma in Fine Arts and Design.
  • A professional certificate training program included in the cycle.
  • A specific training course for access to upper-level degree programs.
  • An entrance exam.
  • The second year of any experimental high school program.
  • The COU or a pre-university course.
  • The university entrance exam for those over 25 or 45 years old.
  • Access to university for people aged 40 or older with proven work or professional experience.

To access the vocational training programs, the Sant Joan de Déu Teaching Campus establishes admission criteria based on its private ownership and in accordance with the recommendations of the Department of Education.

  • Completion of pre-registration via the corresponding document and bank payment – 40 points.
  • Having completed another accredited degree at the Teaching Campus – 25 points.
  • Attend informational sessions – 15 points.
  • Being a sibling, parent, or child of a student who has completed or is currently completing studies at CDSJD – 10 points.
  • Being an employee, volunteer (with more than 100 hours), or family member of an employee at any center belonging to the Hospital Order of Saint John of God (up to second degree of kinship) – 10 points.

To apply the tie-breaking criterion, you must submit the supporting documentation within the established deadline.

  • Completing enrollment constitutes acceptance of and signing the commitment letter to the school’s mission and agreement to abide by the rules of coexistence.
  • Priority will be given to individuals who complete the full enrollment for the Training Cycle.
