The Intermediate Degree Training Program for Technician in Auxiliary Nursing Care is an official qualification accredited by the Department of Education of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

Mastery of clinical material management

Prepare materials and process consultation/unit information in areas of their expertise.

Compassionate Care with a Human Touch

Administer nursing care assistance to the patient/client.

Safe and well-equipped environments

Maintain sanitary conditions in the patient/client’s environment and for medical equipment and instruments across various clinics, units, and services.

Psychological support and health education

Collaborate in providing psychological care to the patient/client by applying, at their level, techniques for psychological support and health education.

Specialization in oral health


Perform instrumentation tasks on dental health equipment.

Upon completing this training program, you can enter the workforce as a technical assistant in auxiliary nursing in various healthcare settings:

Hospitals and clinics (special units, inpatient services, emergency departments…)

Primary care centers

Home care services

Geriatric and mental health centers

Dental consultations

1,400 hours distributed over two academic years (990 contact hours + 410 hours of practical training)


Submit to the academic secretary on the day of enrollment formalization:

  • Color passport-size photograph.
  • Photocopy of your bank details for payment authorization and the "SEPA Direct Debit Mandate" document.
  • Photocopy of a document showing the student's identification code (IDALU), which usually appears on the transcript.
  • Original official academic transcript showing the grade obtained according to the relevant access route (ESO, Bachillerato, medium/higher vocational training cycle, etc.). If applying for the convalidation of credits or modules, grades must be itemized by credit or training unit.
  • Original or certified copy of the corresponding title receipt.
  • Document "Data Confidentiality"
  • Document "Request for Consent to Obtain Images."
  • Document "Educational Commitment Letter" (in-person instruction only).
  • Document "Virtual Teaching Commitment Letter" (for virtual instruction only).
  • Original and photocopy of the family book or equivalent documentation proving kinship.


If the student is a minor, the following documentation must also be provided:

  •  Original and photocopy of the family book or equivalent documentation proving filiation.
  • Original and photocopy of the father's, mother's, or legal guardian's ID card, NIE, or passport.
  • Document "Authorization for Extracurricular Outings"


Send as a PDF by email from October 1 to 30:

  • Document proving the Social Security affiliation number (NUSS)
  • Certificate of sexual offenses.
  • Vaccination certificate (available in the La Meva Salut app).
  • Individual Health Card (IHC)

Tuition payment

Payment will be made once enrollment has been completed, through the following methods:

a) Lump sum payment

Students who opt for a single payment must pay in one lump sum the total amount due for their enrollment, according to the established payment method, within a maximum of seven calendar days from the date of enrollment.

If you choose to pay by transfer, once the payment has been made, you must send the proof of payment to the email address: campus.pagament@sjd.edu.es

b) Instalment payment

Tuition installment payment is a free service (0% fees) offered by the CDSJD to its students to facilitate course payment. Once enrollment is finalized, the student commits to making all the specified payments, even in the event of withdrawal for any reason.

Entry Requirements for Medium Degree Vocational Training Cycles

To access this program, you must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Graduate of compulsory secondary education (ESO).
  • Basic technician.
  • Technician
  • Senior Technician
  • Assistant Technician
  • Upper Secondary Education (educational plans prior to Organic Law 2/2006, of May 3).
  • A preparatory training course for admission to intermediate degree programs.
  • An entrance exam.
  • The second year of the first experimental cycle of reform of secondary education.
  • The third year of the 1963 Plan, or the second year of the experimental common core of the applied arts and artistic crafts curriculum.
  • Second year of BUP, with a maximum of two failed subjects.
  • The university entrance exam for people over 25 or 45 years old.
  • Access to university for those aged 40 or older who can demonstrate work or professional experience.
  • Other studies or training courses of equivalent academic standing.

To access the vocational training programs, the Sant Joan de Déu Teaching Campus establishes admission criteria based on its private ownership and in accordance with the recommendations of the Department of Education.

  • Complete the pre-registration (relevant document + bank payment) – 40 points.
  • Attend the informational sessions – 20 points.
  • Having the ESO as an access route, or not having been able to enroll at the CDSJD in the previous academic year due to a lack of places – 10 points.
  • Being a sibling, parent, or child of a student who has completed or is currently completing studies at CDSJD – 10 points.
  • Being an employee, volunteer (with more than 100 hours), or family member of an employee at any center belonging to the Hospital Order of Saint John of God (up to second degree of kinship) – 10 points.
  • Having completed any other accredited degree at the Teaching Campus – 10 points.

To apply the tie-breaking criterion, it is necessary to submit the supporting documentation within the established deadline.

  • Completing enrollment constitutes acceptance of and signing the commitment letter to the school's mission and agreement to the rules of coexistence.
  • Priority will be given to individuals who complete the full enrollment for the Training Cycle.
