The Sant Joan de Déu Teaching Campus Simulation Center is a space designed to train both the technical and non-technical skills of future healthcare professionals, as well as to offer concrete training solutions to healthcare teams.
In addition to simulating realistic clinical environments, the center has a team of accredited simulation experts who master the methodology and enable simulations to be extended into areas such as communication, leadership, and interpersonal relationships. This comprehensive approach ensures training tailored to the industry’s needs, enhancing not only technical competencies but also essential skills for teamwork and decision-making.

The Sant Joan de Déu Teaching Campus Simulation Center features over 600 square meters of spaces specifically designed to recreate real clinical environments and provide an immersive, innovative training experience. These facilities, equipped with cutting-edge technology, are designed to ensure safe and effective learning for both students and healthcare professionals.
Hospitalization Unit

- Four warehouses for medical supplies and simulation equipment.
Areas for technical and non-technical simulation

- Lockers and preparation areas for participants.

The CDSJD Simulation Center offers a wide variety of simulation activities designed to complement academic and professional training across various fields. Thanks to the flexibility and diversity of its facilities and methodologies, the center tailors its simulations to the specific needs of each professional profile, ensuring a unique and personalized training experience.

The center’s simulation technical team is distinguished by its high level of specialization in creating fully realistic scenarios. Using advanced techniques such as makeup and moulage, they achieve an exceptional level of fidelity in representing injuries, wounds, and medical conditions. In addition, the Simulation Center collaborates with professional actors who portray patients and family members, adding an emotional and interpersonal component that significantly enriches the simulation.
