The Immediate Life Support course is a one-day, multidisciplinary program that provides the essential knowledge and skills to act in the initial phase of treating a critically ill patient in need of resuscitation. For this reason, it is an ideal training for healthcare professionals at all stages and levels.

It offers training in more diagnostic skills than the BLS course, expands basic knowledge, and teaches airway management techniques, ECG recognition, and rapid and safe defibrillation using an AED or a manual defibrillator. The pedagogical concept closely follows that of the BLS course but focuses solely on the basic knowledge and skills appropriate for most healthcare professionals.

This course is presented as the go-to training in resuscitation for healthcare professionals responding to frontline emergency situations.

Acquire the skills to recognize and manage a deteriorating patient.
