Dr. Juan Roldán, next to Dr. Montserrat Puig and Dr. M. Terresa Lluch, the latter as a tutor, have directed the thesis of Sara Sánchez Balcells, associate professor at the Campus Docent Sant Joan de Déu.
Sara Sánchez Balcells, mental health nurse practitioner and case manager of the Castelldefels PSI of the Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu, has presented her thesis on an European scale named "Adaptación y validación de las escalas QPC Quality in Psychiatric Care en el ámbito de la hospitalización".
The event took place on Monday, 30 September 2019 at 12h in the Roser Valls Room on the Bellvitge Campus of the University of Barcelona. The composing members of the tribunal were Dr. Susana Ochoa, research coordinator at the Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu, Dr. Carmen Farré, director of the PhD program at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili and Dr. Carlos Sequeira, certified professor at the nursing school in Porto and president of the national nursing association of Mental Health in Portugal.
Also in attendance were Dr. Agneta Schröder and Dr. Lars-olov Lundqvist, original authors of the devices and senior researchers from the Research Center of Örebro Hospital Unit (Sweden).
During the operating years of her thesis, Sara Sánchez conducted a research stay with the research team of the Campus Docent Sant Joan de Déu and another one in the Research Center of Örebro Hospital Unit.
The thesis has been evaluated with a distinction of cum laude by the court.
