Pre-registration calendar

From 25 May to 30 June, 2020

Documentation required for pre-registration:

  • Application for pre-registration.
  • Curriculum.
  • Motivation letter stating the interests that lead you to do the master’s degree.
  • Academic record.
  • Photocopy of the university degree of access to the master’s degree, or the equivalent duly translated and legalized for foreign students.

Selection criteria

For the selection and admission of the candidates for the master’s degree, the following criteria will be evaluated in order of priority:

  1. Educational trajectory. Priority will be given to defined access degrees and to other training courses (master’s, postgraduate, etc.) related to the nature of the master’s degree (40%).
  2. Professional career in paediatrics or child care (40 per cent). In this case, three different elements will be evaluated in order of relevance:
    1. ​Number of years in professional sectors related to children.
    2. Importance of positions in institutions and/or programmes related to children.
    3. Relevance of the professional functions and competences performed in these institutions and programmes.
  3. Academic record. The average score obtained in the grade or equivalent (10%) will be taken into account.
  4. Motivations. Elements that justify the choice of the master will be evaluated (10%).

In the case of an application of more than 40 students, the admission will be made in order of registration, provided that the above criteria and stages are met.

Resolution procedure

A special body will be formed for the admission of applicants to the Master’s degree. This body will be made up of the members of the coordinating committee of the Master.

Phase 1: This commission will carry out an evaluation of the above criteria for deciding on the access and admission of students who have pre-registered.

Phase 2: Afterwards, individual tutoring will be carried out with each student, prior to the enrolment process, to evaluate the completion of the above criteria and the motivation for the completion of the master’s degree.

In the case of an application of more than 40 students, the admission will be made in order of registration, provided that the above criteria and stages are met.

Notification of students admitted or not admitted will be made during the first week of July. Students who wish to submit a complaint or review of the resolution may do so during the second half of July.
