Additional training Registration

Registration process and application for exemption:

The Master’s Degree Coordination Committee will study on an individual basis, on request, cases which may be exempted from such training supplements.

In the decision-making process, special consideration will be given to students who submit:

  • Accreditation of training in university studies in the field of health sciences (minimum of 12 ECTS credits) which have a programme of content equal to or similar to that of training supplements.
  • Accreditation of professional experience of more than two years in research teams or professional intervention teams working in direct or indirect situations with children, as well as a report of the competences developed in the workplace, and corresponding to the general competencies of Master.

Registration of the additional training will take place in July, once the degree coordinating committee has reviewed the academic records of the students enrolled in the master’s degree. In the same period, students may apply for exemption.

Additional training

Since students of the master’s degree are admitted from various official degrees, and having reviewed the different study plans, we note that some of the degrees lack specific training in fundamental aspects of the clinical-healthcare field that would guarantee the levelling in common contents necessary for the optimal development of the studies.

In order to standardize the basic learning that students would need in order to start the master’s degree with the greatest possible level of equality, a 6-credit subject will be offered as a Learning Supplement. This subject will be studied intensively, and before the beginning of the master, during the month of September. It is designed exclusively for Master students.
