Agreement of the Board of the Interuniversity Council of Catalonia, regarding the Code of good practices of the affiliated centers, within the framework of the Catalan university system

Given that one of the objectives of the Secretariat for Universities and Research is to monitor the studies implemented and to improve the quality of the teaching centers attached to the universities of Catalonia, it seems appropriate to agree, within the Interuniversity Council of Catalunya, a set of measures that increase its quality and the definition of the parameters that must be evaluated, before the authorization of assignment of new centers or authorization of the teaching of new studies in existing centers, to guarantee the correct operation and balanced of the centers mentioned, within the general offer of the Catalan university system.

In this context, the General Directorate of Universities has monitored the procedure, requirements and conditions for the assignment of higher education teaching centers to Catalan universities, and European quality standards have also been taken into account , in order to draw up this Code of Good Practices, which leads to the improvement of the quality of the centers, which are attached to public and private universities in Catalonia, to teach official university degree and master's degrees.
