Periods in which the exchanges are carried out are linked to the subjects of Clinical Stays and Practicum that are taken in the 3rd and 4th year of the Degree, as well as in the subject Clinical Nursing II (3rd year) in the mobility that takes place in Ireland  In each case it can be valued if at the same time they can study some theoretical subject that can obtain recognition as an optional subject.

There is a system of financial support linked to the places allocated. For each academic year there is specific information about grants and the mobility website of the University of Barcelona.

Students who decide to opt for a mobility program place should fill in the documentation on the website and provide specific documents. The selection is made through the mobility commission which evaluates the selection criteria.

Selection criteria:

  • Knowledge of the language of the country of destination.
  • Weighting of the academic record.
  • To have approved the credits in order to be able to carry out the practicum.
  • Motivation.

Information about the stays and the period to be able to register must be done following the following process:

  1. Access the website section International mobility of the University of Barcelona students.
  2. Deliver the documentation to the academic secretary of theCampus Docent Sant Joan de Déu.

The Campus Docent Sant Joan de Déu voluntarily provides all students who take part in the mobility Programme with sickness and accident insurance. The Campus will provide the policy number to each student before leaving for the internship abroad.
