The Campus Sant Joan de Déu, as an affiliated centre that implements the UB study plan takes into account its admission profile. This admission profile is evaluated and improved through the participation of the Campus in the Academic Commission and through meetings with the rector's representant in the Campus. The centre's contributions are based on the summary of the student report cards and the list of new entrants with personal data and on the access route. This information feeds into the UB's report on the entrance profile.

Even so, the implementation of the training offer is done by the Degree Commission with the definition and approval of optative subjects. These must be validated by the UB. Therefore, the Degree Comission takes into account the admission profile and the graduation profile and approved by the management of the Campus with the choice of these subjects.

As for the graduation profile, it is governed by the professional competences that ANECA indicates for nursing professionals and the transversal ones of the University of Barcelona. The Degree Commission takes into account the objectives to be achieved with the development of the degree, and makes the design and definition of this profile taking into account:

  • Income profile defined by the UB.
  • UB study plan.
  • Training offer.
  • Mission and vision of the Campus.
  • Needs of the Campus.
  • Needs identified by students at the Campus Board and delegates meeting.
  • Identified needs of other stakeholders through the school management.
  • Campus strategic plan, long and medium term objectives and annual objectives defined by the Process Management Commission.
  • Analysis of the indicators that provide information regarding the income profile: dropout rate, degree rate, employment rate...
  • Teaching staff at the meetings of the cloister and at the meetings of each subject.
  • Coordinators of undergraduate subjects at meetings with the Head of Studies.
  • Tutors of the Tutorial Action Plan at meetings with the TAP coordinator.
  • Coordinators and tutors of training centres with holders of practical subjects.
  • Professionals of the training centers with the tutors.
  • Managers of the training centres at meetings with coordinators and management.
