Ayurveda is the oldest medical system recognized by the WHO. Its origin dates from approximately five thousand years ago. The Sanskrit word ayurveda is made up of two words that are translated as science or knowledge (veda) of life (ayu), but to actual practice it is much more than a medical system; it is an art astscience, a philosophy of life that emphasizes in detail a way of life that leads to health, happiness and longevity. Recent years have seen an increase in the demand for complementary therapies from society. This program aims to equip professionals with the necessary tools for the development of a reflexive practice from the vision of a millennial therapy such as ayurveda.
